SMITHFIELD — A Johnston County couple is appealing their conviction on charges related to the deaths of their three children this summer.
Last week, a judge found Kent and Nissa Warren guilty of having a gun within reach of their teenage children. The teenagers were found in their dilapidated home, all dead from gunshot wounds in an apparent double murder suicide.
No court date has been set for the Warrens appeal.
