DURHAM — Animal lovers brought their pets to a Durham church Thursday for a special blessing.
St. Philip's Episcopal Church held its animal blessing service in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the animals.
Animal lovers brought their dogs and cats, while others brought pictures and stuffed animals.
