Three people and pets displaced after Raleigh apartment fire, firefighters say

Three people were displaced Friday night after an apartment fire in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Fire Department, the fire happened at an apartment on Centennial Ridge Way. Firefighters said the fire was contained to one unit and was extinguished shortly after they arrived.

No one was injured, but firefighters said three people and some pets were displaced, adding that the apartment mostly suffered water and smoke damage.

Other residents were able to return to their apartments at the building once the fire was put out.

The fire, according to firefighters, is under investigation.
