The spending plan closely follows the priorities set forth in Gov. Pat McCrory's budget proposal.

Elections board certifies Ellmers' win

RALEIGH, N.C. — The State Board of Elections on Tuesday certified the results of an election that saw Republicans gain ground across North Carolina.

The certification came less than a week after a recount in the 2nd Congressional District led Democratic Rep. Bob Etheridge to concede his race to Republican candidate Renee Ellmers.

That was brilliant! After hearing him speak last weekend - it was all about him and not the people. "Just look at all the good I did" yeah, but when you do bad things on top of it the ends DO justify the means.

Congratulations to the PINHEADS who were the "brains" behind that idiotic sign at the intersection of 401/421 depicting Pelosi-as-puppet-master holding Bob's strings. Too bad the people who were targeted by that sign are even allowed to vote. ;)
