Fayetteville, N.C. — Congressional candidate Tim D'Annunzio held a fundraiser involving machine guns Thursday night.
D'Annunzio, a republican running for Congress in the 8th District, hosted the Machine Gun Social at Jim's Guns in Fayetteville.
For a $25 donation, participants shot MP-5s and Uzis. Additional magazines were $25 each.
For donations of at least $25, supporters had the chance to fire MP5 and Uzi machine guns at the shooting range
A semi-automatic rifle was one of the door prizes given out at the event.
Democrat Larry Kissell and Libertarian Thomas Hill are also running for the seat.
