Wake commissioner out of hospital after stroke

Harold Webb, chairman of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, is improving after suffering a stroke last Tuesday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Harold Webb, chairman of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, is recovering after suffering a stroke last Tuesday.

Webb has released from Rex Hospital on Monday afternoon, according to Rex officials.

Web was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2003 and was elected to four-year terms in 2004 and 2008, representing District 5 in east Raleigh. He was elected chairman of the board this year.
