Perdue focused on state economy

Perdue has been holding economic roundtable discussions in recent weeks with experts from different sectors, from farmers to biotechnology executives, to get a handle on their needs and concerns.

"In these critical times when many of our families are struggling to make ends meet, I want you to know I’m not going to wait until I take the oath of office on Jan. 10 to focus on what needs to be done to help turn around our state’s economy and keep our people working," she said in a statement.
