Top of the ticket returns to N.C.
Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama will make North Carolina appearances this weekend.

Republican John McCain is scheduled to speak Saturday morning at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord. Doors open at 8 a.m. for the 10 a.m. event.
A statement from Democratic Barack Obama campaign late Wednesday night said the Illinois senator will hold a rally in the Fayetteville area on Sunday. It will be his sixth trip to North Carolina since the May primary.
Obama's last visit to North Carolina was to Asheville, two days before the Oct. 7 presidential debate with McCain. Obama spent several days in western part of the state prepping for the debate.
No further details of the trip were available Wednesday.
