Of all the weeks to go to Disney World ... I would've loved to see Clinton in my hometown. Go Hillary!

she doesn't want to pay for the gas, she wants to GIVE you a break by taking away the tax for a small period of time. but what she's clueless about is that when a hurricane, or 3, hits, takes out 2 or 3 platforms, or more, shuts them down for a week or 2 at a minimum, or the nut cases in the desert blow up a few more pipelines THEN they add the tax back on you won't be able to afford to pay attention!!!
End the same ole in Washington and for crying out loud send Clinton home. FOR GOOD!!!

"Clinton visits gas station for cameras today."

A perfect photo op, since she and her husband are so full of it.

    It is right.

I was in the military from '90 - '95 and what Worland says is pretty accurate... We had no money for training and other necessities; morale was pretty low.

""When did "lean" become equivalent to "gutted", "dis-spirited", "dissheveled" and "demoralized"?"

And your proof of this would be?"

You don't know many (any?) active duty military, do you?

"As soon as he came into office, he tried to turn the military into a business. Cut as many people as possible with technology. Don't replace any "expendables" such as ammunition until you absolutely need them. Training costs a lot, so let's stop doing that. You can buy that new jet or tank, just don't waste money on spare parts (new technology doesn't ever break)."

    Right....

    "Bill Clinton never:

    - ignored the "al Quedia attack on the US imminent"

Ignorance is bliss, eh? You are conveniently leaving out the fact that Clinton's administration had the chance to take out bin Laden in the 1990's but chose not to... Now, one could suppose (and I agree its a reach) that if he had taken out bin Laden, 9/11 could've been avoided and we likely wouldn't be fighting two wars...

Did any of you Clinton fans serve in the military under Bill? As soon as he came into office, he tried to turn the military into a business. Cut as many people as possible with technology. Don't replace any "expendables" such as ammunition until you absolutely need them. Training costs a lot, so let's stop doing that. You can buy that new jet or tank, just don't waste money on spare parts (new technology doesn't ever break).

What GW inherited was a military with no people, old vehicles, no spare parts and no ammo. A military lead by "yes" men who feared for their jobs. Clinton managed to expend all of our conventional cruise missiles with nothing to show for it. Saddam still stuck up his nose at the UN and Bin Laden was still on the loose. Clinton wasted a lot of munitions that could not be replaced in silly little operations with no real impact.

Life in the military with Iraq, Afghanistan and the GWOT is a heck of a lot better than it was under Clinton's idiocy.

    Air Biscuit -

I actually know more conservatives who are "literal" and don't see the grey areas, than liberals are are so.
