Clinton to Appear in Raleigh, Fayetteville, Winston-Salem
A day after Sen. Barack Obama plans a town-hall-style meeting in Greensboro, his main rival for the Democratic presidential nomination plans stops in Raleigh, Fayetteville and Winston-Salem, officials said Tuesday.
Posted — UpdatedSen. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to deliver an economic policy address at Wake Technical Community College at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a "Solutions for America" event at Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville at 1:30 p.m., campaign officials said.
Clinton will close out the one-day swing through North Carolina with an event at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem at 5:30 p.m., officials said.
All events are free and open to the public.
Obama made campaign stops last week in Fayetteville and Charlotte, calling for an end to the Iraq War and speaking on issues from health care to the economy.
He plans to hold a town-hall-style meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greensboro Memorial Coliseum. All tickets to that event have been distributed.

Former President Bill Clinton also campaigned in the state last week on behalf of his wife, making stops in Charlotte and Cary.
