WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Vice President Joe Biden will visit Winston-Salem on Wednesday to "highlight the Administration’s efforts to create jobs in the United States and restore middle class economic security," the White House announced Monday.

He'll speak at Wake Forest Biotech Place, 575 N. Patterson Ave., at 11:30 a.m. to discuss "the steps the Administration is taking to bring manufacturing jobs back to America and (to) call on Congress to act on the President’s 'To Do List' to create jobs," the White House said.

The Republican National Committee released a statement Monday, saying Biden "has a lot of explaining to do to the thousands of North Carolinians struggling to fill their gas tanks, pay their bills, or send their children to college because of President Obama’s hostile policies towards job creators."
