Top three priorities if elected:
My top priorities are continuing to pursue actions that will enhance Chapel Hill’s reputation as the environmental leader of the Southeast, enacting new measures to increase the stock of affordable housing in the community, and leading the way to ensure that our neighborhoods are protected as new developments are proposed. Over the last eight years I have consistently been an effective voice for progressive public policy on the Town Council. I am proud of the work we have done improving public transportation, revitalizing downtown, and increasing parkland. I am eager to continue my work for the people of Chapel Hill on these issues.
