Occupation/Background: Worked in Telecommunication industry for last 30 plus years

Political Affiliation: Registered Democrat; NC Democratic Party State Executive Member; Chair of Precinct 23 in Durham

Top three priorities if elected:
1) Safety - Safer communities and work environment for Durham employees

2) Unity - Let us work together to improve the quality of life in Durham

3) Manage Growth - Lets work together, city, county, state, and federal agencies and public and private sectors in the planning stage to reduce cost overruns and delays.

I believe it is time for the people of Durham to come together and focus on making our town safer. If we make Durham safer, create a level playing field for all citizens and manage our budget and operations more carefully - I believe we have a great future. I have been a community volunteer for many years and proved that I am fair, open-minded and committed to Durham. If elected, I will work hard, I will do my homework, I will respect all viewpoints, and I will make decisions in a thoughtful and balanced manner.
