Early voting is available in Wake County for the following races: Municipal Elections in Angier, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Morrisville, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell and Zebulon and the Board of Education District 3 Runoff
Five seats on the Wake County Board of Education are up for grabs in October 2011.
The deadline to register to vote in North Carolina is 25 days before the day of the election. Individuals who miss the registration deadline, if qualified, may register in person and then vote at a one-stop voting site in their county of residence during the one-stop absentee voting period, which begins the third Thursday before an election and goes through the last Saturday before an election.
