Services scheduled for Pinelake victims

Services for victims killed in the March 29, 2009, shooting at Pinelake Health and Rehab in Carthage.

Jerry Avant Jr., 39
Services were held April 2, at Freedom Baptist Church in Rockingham. Interment with military honors followed in Richmond County Memorial Park.

Louise De Kler, 98
Services were held April 4 at Restland Memorial Park Chapel, 77 DeForest Ave. in East Hanover, N.J. Burial followed at Restland Memorial Park.

Lillian Dunn, 89
Funeral services were held April 2 at Pine Mountain Friends Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Tessie Garner, 75
Services were held Wednesday morning at Smyrna United Methodist Church. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins handled the arrangements.

John Goldston, 78
A private memorial is planned.

Bessie Hedrick, 78
Services were held April 2 at First Baptist Church, 314 S. Second Ave., Siler City. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery.

Margaret Johnson, 89
Funeral services were April 2 at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue. Burial followed in Saplin Ridge United Methodist Cemetery.

Jesse Vernon Musser, 88
Services were April 3 at Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Mullens, WV. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
