An overturned dump truck was blocking traffic on Leesville Road near the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Wednesday morning.
Durham County deputies shut down Leesville Road in both directions, starting at the intersection of Shady Grove Road to clear the scene of a crash that involved at least one dump truck that was carrying a load of sand. As of 12:30 p.m., the road has reopened.

The truck overturned and spilled tons of sand onto the Durham County road.
Durham County deputies, Raleigh police and State Highway Patrol all responded to the scene.
