Durham Public Schools names three principals

The Durham public school system announced three new principals for the upcoming school year.

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham public school system announced three new principals for the upcoming school year.

Jerome Leathers, an assistant principal at Hillside High School, was named principal at Jordan High School.

Teresa James was named principal at Club Boulevard Elementary School. She is currently an assistant principal at Fuquay-Varina High School in Wake County.

Kia Eason, who has worked with Durham Public Schools as a Title I school improvement specialist, was named principal at Merrick-Moore Elementary School.
