WASHINGTON — A senior at Garner High School, participated in a White House conference Thursday designed to prevent bullying in American schools.

Casey Story, 18, was among a number of parents, teachers, students and education experts that President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama invited to the White House for a series of talks and seminars on how to stop bullying and help victims.

Story is the national Youth Advisory Board chairwoman of SAVE, Students Against Violence Everywhere.
