Weeks named to Raleigh City Council

Raleigh, N.C. — The Raleigh City Council on Tuesday voted to add Eugene Weeks, chairman of the Human Relations Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission to fill the vacant seat left by James West.

West left the council for the Wake County Board of Commissioners, where he replaced Harold Webb, who resigned for health reasons.
