Wake Tech breaks ground on new building

Posted September 15, 2010

Wake Tech Community College broke ground Wednesday on a new classroom at the school's Northern Wake Campus.

The $22 million structure would be the fourth classroom building at that location. Construction was funded by a bond sold in March.

Students are expected to begin using the building in January 2012.

Good, now the line of traffic for the left turn on to Louisburg road can get even longer and more congested! And, there will be even more college students to run us off the road everyday. Please don't stop to look both ways before you pull out of that parking lot. Yes, increase the traffic around there but do nothing to accomodate it. That's a great idea!

They sure can use the space, but I hope it has more parking spaces!
