SPCA open Labor Day for adoptions

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Wake County is opening its doors this Labor Day to encourage animal adoptions.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Wake County is opening its doors this Labor Day to encourage animal adoptions.

Adoption fees for the holiday weekend include:

  • All dogs and puppies: $75
  • All cats and kittens: $30

The adoption fees include special needs medical attention, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, all basic vaccines and a microchip.

The SPCA shelter on Petfinder Lane in Raleigh is open Monday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
