UNC-W ranked a 'best buy'

Posted August 16, 2010

Forbes Magazine has the University of North Carolina at Wilmington among the top 20 in its annual list of "America's Best College Buys."

The rankings are based on a formula that measures academic quality divided by costs to students.

Only the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill outranked UNC-W among Tar Heel schools. UNC-Asheville just missed a Top-20 ranking. It came in at 21st.
