FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The threat of rain did nothing to limit the crowds at Fayetteville's annual Dogwood Festival over the weekend.

Melody Foote, director of marketing for the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, estimated 250,000 people turned out for food, music, crafts, games and rides.
