The Chapel Hill Town Council selected Donna Bell to fill its vacant seat Monday evening.
Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Chapel Hill Town Council selected Donna Bell to fill its vacant seat Monday evening.
She will serve the last two years of former council member Bill Strom's term. Strom resigned in August so it was too late for his seat to be filled by last month's election.
Bell has previously served on Chapel Hill's Planning Board, the EmPowerment Board of Directors and the Town's Sustainable Community Visioning Task Force.
