Habitat for Humanity of Durham is asking for help to restore their stock of power tools after a recent theft.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Habitat for Humanity of Durham is asking for help to restore their stock of power tools after a recent theft.
Someone broke into a storage container and took saws, drills and other tools, a spokeswoman said.
Volunteers and staff discovered the theft Saturday morning. They reported the loss to Durham police, but are also asking for help from the public.
Please consider donating the following tools in new or almost new condition. Donations can be made at 215 N. Church St.
- circular saws: 7 ¼” corded saws and 6 ¼” cordless saws
- reciprocating saws: 10 - 15 amp corded and 18 volt or larger cordless
- miter saws: 10” and 12" compound saws and a sliding compound saw
- portable air compressors
- drills: ½” corded hammer drills, 18 volt or larger cordless drills
- cordless impact drivers
- 10” portable table saw
- small utility trailer
