Sanford, N.C. — A Lee County country club will again welcome members and visitors after rebuilding from a fire.
Fire consumed about 65 percent of the Carolina Chase clubhouse in Sanford on Feb. 1, 2008.
The club held a ribbon-cutting Tuesday a the 30,000-square-foot replacement which features a fitness center, expanded dining areas and more banquet rooms.
