Farmers Market comes to Fayetteville courthouse parking lot
Beginning Saturday, the Fayetteville Farmers Market Association will operate a farmers market in the Cumberland County Courthouse parking lot located off Gillespie Street.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Beginning Saturday, the Fayetteville Farmers Market Association will operate a farmers market in the Cumberland County Courthouse parking lot located off Gillespie Street.
Cumberland County has approved the association’s application to set up the market every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. from April through October.
Vendors will be selling items such as vegetables, berries, honey, eggs, flowers and soaps. Products will vary month to month based on the growing season.
The association will continue to conduct a farmers market on Wednesday afternoons in the parking lot behind the AIT Building just down from the Headquarters Library on Maiden Lane.
