WILSON, N.C. — Friday was the last day of school in more ways than one for St. Therese Catholic School, 700 Nash St. in Wilson.
The school closed for good due to low student enrollment.
The facility nearly shut down in 2006 due to financial problems, but parents and parishioners raised enough money to keep the school going.
