Gov. Perdue to address Gaston County grads

Gov. Bev Perdue will give the commencement address to graduates of Gaston County Community College Thursday, her office announced.

The governor will speak during ceremonies at John H. Barnhardt Student Activity Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte on Thursday at 7 p.m.

    Thats a barn burner these kids will remember. Next to Easley the second worst Gov speaks at the graduation. They would get more out of and the truth from a Mimes speach.

    How much will this trip to Gaston County Community College cost the state taxpayers? Probably not a biggie, but certainly during the economic times of "no travel" and "income decreases", etc. something that might should be done differently!!!
