New exhibit of Buddhist statues on display
The "33 Manifestations of Compassion" exhibition opened Sunday at the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple in Raleigh.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — The “33 Manifestations of Compassion” exhibition opened Sunday at the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple in Raleigh.
The exhibit consists of 33 sculptured manifestations of Compassion. The Bodhisattva of Compassion is an enlightened being who delays entering nirvana in order to liberate others in this world first.
The exhibition will be open until April 18.
