Carolina Brewery marks 14 years in existence on Feb. 13 with a party at its Chapel Hill brewery.

The celebration begins at 11 a.m. with the debut of a limited-edition Anniversary Ale. Birds & Arrows and Sweet By & By will perform live beginning at 9 p.m.  The first 500 customers to purchase a pint will go home with a free commemorative pint glass.

“Our staff, customers and business associates have been a part of our family for all 14 years, and we would not be here today if it wasn't for so many wonderful supporters. We have been truly blessed to work with so many great people," owner/operator Robert Poitras said.

Carolina Brewery is located at 460 W. Franklin St.

Carolina Brewery is to be commended for demonstrating that to be successful in business you should provide an outstanding product/experience at a fair price, especially in Chapel Hill / Carroboro where so many local businesses act like they DESERVE your patronage simply on the premise that they are local and without any regard to the quality or value offered.
