Chapel Hill, N.C. — A new aquatic center opened on Saturday at Homestead Park, off Northern Park drive.
The Homestead Aquatic Center features two pools, bleachers for swim meets, a reception area, locker rooms and public art.
The 27,400 square foot center is open seven days a week.
