Chapel Hill aquatics center to open

Chapel Hill, N.C. — An aquatics center in Chapel Hill is scheduled to open Saturday.

The Homestead Aquatic Center, in the northwest corner of Homestead Park, on Northern Park Drive, includes two pools, locker rooms, bleachers, a reception area, office space and public art.

The center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekends.
