Durham's MLK parade rescheduled

Durham, N.C. — Durham’s Martin Luther King Jr. Parade has been rescheduled, city officials announced Wednesday.
The parade is being held Jan. 31 at noon. It begins at Heritage Square Shopping Center and goes down Fayetteville Street to Elmira Avenue.
The event was originally scheduled for Jan. 17 but was moved due to “overwhelming requests to reschedule.”
