Raleigh, N.C. — Schools that demonstrate a commitment to physical fitness are eligible for a grant from the N.C. Health and Wellness Trust Fund.
Schools can apply for the "A+ Fit School" designation until Feb. 20.
Those that are selected will get $7,500 to spend on programs that promote good eating habits and physical activity. All public schools, K-12, are eligible.
