Kill Devil Hills, N.C. — A gale warning won't delay the screening of a movie shot on the Outer Banks, promoters said.
“Nights in Rodanthe,” a romance based on a novel by New Bern author Nicholas Sparks, was shot on location in the Outer Banks and in Wilmington.
Some members of the community will enjoy an invitation-only a sneak peek at the film Wednesday night at RC Theaters in Kill Devil Hills.
It opens nationwide on Friday.
Windy weather won't hinder 'Rodanthe' screening
