Diane B. Sauer took the reins of the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department Monday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Diane B. Sauer took the reins of the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department Monday. Sauer is a 22-year veteran of the department, and has served as acting director since June.
“Diane has an established record of leadership and professionalism in park and recreation services,” City Manager J. Russell Allen said.
