Hillsborough, N.C. — Hillsborough will break ground for a new park and riverwalk along Dimmocks Mill Road in August.
Gold Park will will be one stop on the planned 1.5-mile path, which will follow the Eno River east-west through town. The 24-acre park will include a playground, a soccer field, a dog park, picnic shelters and restrooms.
The $1.8 million project is expected to take about six months to complete.
