Help plan Durham transit options

Durham, N.C. — The Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) has posted a user survey online to solicit public input on planned service improvements.

The survey is open through Aug. 1.

During the month of August, DATA staff and community leaders will plan priorities for the next five years. Their plan is to be considered by the DATA Board of Trustees and Durham City Council by January 2009.

Raise the price of the tickets and transfers so that gang members looking for trouble aren't spending their time riding around on these buses with out a purpose.
