Wake Forest adds bus service

Commuters in Wake Forest will have a new option beginning Monday. A weekday rush-hour express bus will run from Wake Forest to downtown Raleigh, and local bus service will run on a loop connecting key areas within the town.

The Wake Forest-Raleigh Express will depart nine times each weekday between 5:55 a.m. and 8:55 a.m. from a park-and-ride at White Street and Elm Avenue in Wake Forest and make stops at Triangle Town Center, the state government offices and Moore Square.

The reverse trip will operate from 4:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Full schedules for the two new routes are available on line at www.GoTriangle.org.
