Raleigh, N.C. — Applications are being accepted for WRAL-TV's annual azalea giveaway.

Each year, WRAL and its parent company, Capitol Broadcasting, give away 10,000 azaleas to more than 100 nonprofits across North Carolina. MIX 101.5 and NC Beautiful sponsor the annual giveaway.

The WRAL Azalea Celebration promotes environmental education and stewardship by helping nonprofits beautify their communities. Slideshow     2012 WRAL Azalea Garden

Applications with rules and instructions can be downloaded and must be mailed or postmarked by Aug. 31, 2012.
