MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM’s 17th annual Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital raised $1.2 million. The event was held Tuesday, Feb. 15, through Thursday, Feb. 17. MIX morning show hosts, Bill Jordan and Lynda Loveland, kicked off the annual fund raising event live from Duke. LISTEN LIVE: Mix 101.5 Radiothon is on the air! Photos: 2011 Mix 101.5 Radiothon Funds raised through the Radiothon support research into the causes and possible cures for devastating childhood illnesses. These funds also provide patient support materials such as toys for the playroom and parent education materials. A check for total funds raised was presented live in the final hour of the Radiothon broadcast. Over the past 17 years, MIX 101.5 has raised over $13 million for the kids at Duke Children's Hospital.

Raleigh residents continue to make good use of a mobile and Web-based tool developed by WRAL.com, the vendor SeeClickFix and the City of Raleigh, according to a report from the city.
