Julia Parker Goyer, 23, of Birmingham, Ala., won a Rhodes Scholarship for founding the Coach for College program, which sends student-athletes to teach middle schoolers in rural areas of developing countries. The 2007 Duke University graduate will pursue a masters of science in comparative and international education at Oxford University in England.
