Morrisville police investigate body found near Church Street and Traphill Drive

The Morrisville Police Department is investigating after a body was found along Church Street near the intersection of Traphill Drive.

At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, two people found a body in the woods near the train tracks. When officers arrived, they said the body had already started to decompose. 

Morrisville police are working with the state medical examiner’s office to identify the body.

The investigation is still ongoing.
