March 8, 2011 :: Hurricane-blown pelican Ralph arrives in NC

Ralph, a brown pelican from Florida, was blown far off-course by Hurricane Earl and landed in Nova Scotia. He was taken to the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter in Newport, N.C., where he'll recuperate before being released into the wild.
