Crews battled a fire at a house on Shepherd Valley Street in southeast Raleigh early Wednesday morning.
The Raleigh Fire division chief on the scene told WRAL News crews responded to a two-story house fire on Shepherd Valley Street around 1:10 a.m. Wednesday. Two children and two adults were inside. He said they were able to get out without any injuries.

The division chief told WRAL News the fire damaged the garage. It did not damage the rest of the home. The American Red Cross is helping them.
Raleigh Fire said the freezing temperatures did not impact their ability to put out the fire.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker captured crews sifting through the damage in the garage. There were about 10 fire trucks on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
