Car fire in Cary damages home, investigation underway for cause

Emergency crews rushed to a Cary neighborhood early Saturday as a suspected car fire erupted on Adam Street, causing significant damage to a house.

WRAL on scene: Car fire damages side of Cary home

Emergency crews responded to a house call in Cary after a car caught fire early Saturday morning.

The WRAL Breaking News tracker was on the scene just after 5 a.m. where video footage could see a car damage front-first in the driveway toward the home on Adam Street near Harrison Avenue.

It seems to look like a fire that may have originated from the car damaged the side of the house, where video footage shows the side peeling and somewhat burnt.

WRAL is working to learn more about what caused the fire and if there were any injuries involved.
