Man's body found in downtown Durham parking deck, police say

A body of a man was found in a parking deck by Durham law enforcement Saturday evening. 

According to police, the Durham firefighters were responding to a structure fire at the 500 block of East Pettigrew Street.

When they were finishing up that call, a maintenance worker approached them and said he found a body on the ground floor of a parking deck between two buildings. 

Durham officers found the man's body, but they have not determined the cause of death. They also did not identify the man.
