The North Carolina Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance, along with the Carolina Recycling Association and North Carolina Keep America Beautiful, is reminding people of the upcoming America Recycles Day.
The Nov. 15 event is the only nationally-recognized day encouraging Americans to recycle and buy recycled content products.
North Carolinians can pledge their commitment to recycling and buying recycled content items two ways: electronically on the ARD Web site or at participating area events.
To make a recycling pledge and to find ARD events, visit http://www.p2pays.org/ARD.html.
