The first solar grid tied home in Fayetteville broke ground Wednesday. Randy Darling of 3824 Sandarosa Road is having a 6.2 kilowatt ground mount system installed.
Alternative Energy Concepts, a Fayetteville based solar company, will do the installation. The system, which will use the NC Green Power REC purchase agreement, should go online in the next 30 days.
